Codecasa launches motoryacht Ferdy.
Viareggio. 18.04.2007. With a strictly private ceremony, on
April 18, 2007, at 1 p.m., Codecasa launched in Viareggio 43-meters
motoryacht
Ferdy,
specifically commissioned by the Owner, an important business man
from the North
of Italy with an impressive passion for the
sea that he well managed to transmit to the rest of his family
as well.
In its 43 meters LOA, this new boat, the fiftiest in the Codecasa
New Buildings lists for pleasure yachts, reflects in all its parts
the Codecasa standards for the highest quality of the materials
and of the production ability .
With his high tensile steel hull and a superstructure in light
alloy, Ferdy offers comfort, elegance and external and internal
spaces even maintaining the performance characteristics proper
of a displacement yacht with a GT of about 490 tons.
Motorized with 2 Caterpillars 3512B, and with classic propellers,
the vessel is able to perform 17 knots of max speed at light displacement
and to offer a range of 3.000 nautical miles at the cruising speed
of 13 knots .
Ferdy can accommodate up to 13 guests and 8 crew members.
The interiors, by architects Franco and Anna Maria Dellarole,
Codecasa's partners since many years now, follow a very classic
line.
The walls are covered by whitened oakwood panels, the ceilings
are lacquered white and the floors, apart from the bathrooms, are
all covered by light coloured carpets.
Marble for the pavements in the Owner's and Guests' bathrooms,
wood for the day heads and for two of the Guests' cabins.
The general line followed for the interior style, kept also for
the exteriors, is simple, linear and clean and this was an express
request of the Owner.
To be delivered in about one month, the boat will then immediately
start cruising the Mediterranean seas.
