Timmerman Yachts announces a new contract to build a 45-meter
motor yacht
Moscow: The contract had been signed on the last
day of 2005 and was likely to become the best possible New Year
present both to the shipyard staff and to the family members of
the future yacht owner.
This unique vessel, which harmoniously
combines the strong character of an expedition boat with the
elegant lines of a superyacht, is scheduled for launch in April
2007.
The yacht is being built on the basis of the Timmerman
45 series
as designed by Vripack with nautical-styled interiors being developed
by the renowned Bannenberg Designs studio.
The project is considered
to be the summit of Timmerman Yachts' Yachting Unlimited™ philosophy.
There are few sailing limits for the yacht – its reinforced hull
allows to sail in broken ice and owing to the heat retaining window
panes and latest Heinen & Hopman climate control unit, guests
may travel comfortably within an outside temperature range from
-20 to +45 degrees Celsius.
The yacht’s cruising range exceeds
4000 nautical miles, which enables it not only to cross the Atlantic
but also to sail around the world with only five refueling stops.
Among the yacht's other features are the helipad on the upper
deck and a two-seater mini-submarine in the garage.
The boat is being built under the supervision of Det Norske Veritas
(DNV) and will fully comply with MCA requirements.
Dmitry Mironenkov, the president of Timmerman Yachts, said: "This
contract signals the continuing success of the Timmerman Yachts
project which has been favorably accepted by the market. Without
the doubt we have become one of the key players in the European
yacht industry."
