A largest Abeking & Rasmussen's yacht.
Less than one year before the 100th birthday the famous German
shipyard Abeking
& Rasmussen, located on the banks of the river
Weser near Bremen with 257 ft. (78,43 m) length over all and a
beam of
40,7
ft. (12,40
m) contracted its largest yacht ever.

Exterior as well as interior
design has been achieved by Reymond & Langton Design with the
naval architecture in the hands of the Abeking & Rasmussen in house
engineering department.
Hull number 6478 will get an extremely fine destroyer
like entry for low resistance for perfect seaworthiness allowing
a range of 6.000 nm.
The five deck yacht with a steel hull and
aluminium superstructure features an almost stern wide transom
hatch with two of the well proven tender launching systems developed
by Abeking & Rasmussen which allow smooth launching and recovering
even when under way.

The draft of the five deck yacht has been reduced to
10,5 ft. (3,2 m) allowing access to shallow anchorages especially
at the Bahamas.
Propelled by two 1.492 kW Caterpillars speed
will be 16.5 knots. The yacht will be built according to Lloyds
Register
of Shipping and MCA.
Her repeat owner will get an extremely large private area situated
on the forward upper deck including office and library.
A huge galley has been planned for fast and easy access to the
al
fresco dining area with sliding doors further aft on
the same deck.
Six guest cabins are located on main and lower deck.
Specialities are
a cinema and a sauna.
The crew on lower deck will get
a number of normally rare single cabins and two spacious mess
areas.
