New Technomar - Velvet 83

The Tecnomar Velvet 83 represents an entirely new project to slot into the Tecnomar Velvet range of yachts. It represents the perfect fusion of the best solutions adopted for the Velvet 35 and Velvet 26.

This latest proposal wants to be the boatyard Tecnomar's answer to market demand. Other than an innovative and eye-catching design, the new 83 footer is more compact and its living area has been revised and further improved upon.

All this to guarantee a superior performance, but without renouncing any interior comfort. The Tecnomar Velvet 83 cuts a slender silhouette, strong and streamlined and its sporty lay-out perfectly blends with the modern solutions indoor.

Clearly recognizable in this new project are the distinctive features typical of the yachts brought to light from the collaboration between Tecnomar and Luca Dini - having together drawn up the design of the superstructure and the internal division.

Meeting its clients' expectations, and those of the target market, the new Tecnomar Velvet 83 proposes distinctive characteristics typical of the larger yachts, such as the important side windows in the living- room or the newly conceived interplay of light and space.

Following the Tecnomar tradition, particular attention is dedicated to the livability of the cockpit, in order to make each minute spent on board in the company of family and friends even more pleasant. Exactly for this reason, the new Velvet 83 offers outdoor a living area made comfortable thanks to an inviting sundeck, a plush sofa and a roomy oval table where friends can all be easily accommodated, whether for a drink or brunch, in a highly relaxing atmosphere.

On entering the living-room, the futuristic interior design with its use of luxurious materials re-creates a lounge-room where guests will feel at ease in conversation, in an elegant and sophisticated surrounding, where, for this first setting, a generous white leather sofa and two comfortable armchairs are found. The walnut furniture lining the side lets us appreciate this confident and impressive ambient.

The dashboard is close to the living-room: thanks to its central position, it offers the widest view for navigation and manoeuvre. Moreover, the 360°-revolving settee allows the Velvet 83 pilot to face the guests in order to share the relaxing moments together.

The stair next to the pilot-house leads to the real surprise of the Velvet 83: how the space has been divided. In fact, five steps lead to a second saloon - really an extension of the first. Thanks to this intermediate bridge it is possible to create an exceptionally large single room, unthinkable for an 83-foot long yacht. In line with the newly conceived use of light, the Tecnomar Velvet 83 is fitted with two open-view windows on the side of the upper saloon and of a big skylight, thanks to the windscreen, of the lower one.

Thanks to these project solutions the opportunity to live fully in contact with the sea and to enjoy all the sun's rays during wonderful summer days is provided, even when sitting on the sofa. The open-plan kitchen, fully-equipped and functional, is positioned on the side of the second saloon and separated by a central island work station.

But other surprises are waiting to be discovered. Moving towards the stern, along the corridor, going down to a lower level, on both sides of the structure there are the double-cabins, comfortable and roomy, with single parallel beds and fitted with a private bathroom each. At the end of the corridor there is the owner's cabin, very pleasant, with a big central bed made of leather and steel and along the sides of the cabin there are two practical walnut and leather dressers; obviously not forgetting the spacious private bathroom and the very capacious wardrobe.

The style of this first model is created from the result of the tight collaboration between Luca Dini Design studio and the Viareggio boatyard, both of whom wanted to give the interior a contemporary and refined style.

The owner, however, can customize the finishings, choosing every detail. In fact, Tecnomar offers a high quality service in choice of materials and attention to detail, while still respecting the agreed delivery time. A very comfortable and roomy accommodation has been reserved for the crew. In order not to interfere with the guests' privacy, access is gained by an independent entrance placed on the bow. Here space can be found for a laundry area, with a stack washer & dryer, and a spacious store-room.
