New launchung at Codecasa: Motoryacht "ILIKI VIII"
Viareggio. A new full-displacement 51-meters motoryacht Iliki
VIII was launched at the Italian shipyard Codecasa.

At 11.00 a.m., from a crowded platform the usual speech was followed
by the deeply-felt words of thanks of the Owner, an Albanian entrepreneur
very keen on the sea and on the yachting field (this is his fourth
boat with Codecasa!).
Then the blessing by the priest followed by the throwing of the
champagne bottle and, immediately, the boat started to slide back
quickly into the water horns spread out.
For Codecasa this launch represents the beginning of a new series:
the CODECASA 51, which, from now on, will replace the previous famous
series of the CODECASA
50.
The decision to add one meter was taken in order to give, aesthetically,
more slenderness to the stern, and, technically, more space to the
garage area. Of this new series the second hull, Build F.67, is
already under construction and will be delivered to his owner in
Summer 2006.
"Iliki VIII" is, one more time, the expression of the research
of more and more livable space. The veranda on Main Deck Aft is
an example. This area is more and more requested by owners and they
find it the most comfortable and informal area of the boat.
Other particulars are the Jacuzzi Spa pool on Sun Deck forward,
the elevator connecting the four decks and the particular research
for the Oriental-style details which are repeated in the interiors
decoration. Here, Codecasa's in-house architects Franco and Anna
Dellarole followed the precise taste of the Owner.
Tanganichwood, Rosewood and Briarwood are perfectly mixed together
on the whole Main Deck and Bridge Deck, whereas for the Lower Deck
the Owner preferred a mix of Rosewood and Birchwood. Black inserts
lines run the ones after the others all over the boat on woods and
marbles.
Very particular are the top of the inner dining 12-seated table,
a single rectangular shaped orange onyx marble slab and the painting
on the forward wall, painted by the owner's wife. Two pairs of inlaid
tusks will be placed in the two niches available in the veranda
just close to the access door to the Main saloon.
The Boat is Full MCA compliant and is now cruising in the Mediterranean.
