Yacht SARAMOUR is launched.
The 46-metre yacht SARAMOUR
(yacht number 118), a ship built by CRN
spa, the third vessel in the "Magnifica" line and sister of
yacht Clarena,
was launched on 16.04.05.

The interiour design was done by Venetian firm Nuvolari & Lenard
and the CRN shipyard.
On the main deck, which opens onto the bow, there is a set
of rigorously "bench-like" seats offset by a massive grey oak table
in the lunch area. The same artistic rigour is found in the unswerving
design choices made for the rest of the boat (panelling, curtains,
types of wood), though this approach is interrupted by rich, complex
pieces of furniture and materials, such as the Topkapi upholstered
chairs by Cassina, to give just one example.
The rigorous choice of forms is contrasted, and made all the more
effective, by a precise architecture of light that features warm,
subtle colours, such as ivory, "Cyprian" yellow and the orange of
fabrics, leathers and panels, which make for a perfect match with
the light-shaded hues of pickled oak and the parquet floor, also
in oak and installed in all the rooms of the vessel, including the
bathrooms.
On the bow portion of the main deck, the shipowner's suite perfectly
sums the overall linearity and simplicity of tones and forms. Leading
up to the night zone there is a study whose chaise-longue provides
an opportunity for relaxation and meditation.
The architecture of light, the common theme of the ship's design,
reaches a point of perfect harmony in the gentle lines traced by
the firm of Nuvolari & Lenard. The roomy side windows showcase the
lower deck, set aside for guests, with a cabin leading to a
large, well-lighted lobby and an open work-out room equipped with
Technogym equipment. Three more guest cabins complete the layout
of this deck.
The upper deck holds the command zone, with the wheelhouse
and the captain's cabin. The stern portion of this deck offers a
roomy sky lounge built around a central panel that provides a perfect
setting for a work of art. A dormeuse lounge and corner sofa frame
this ideal area for relaxation in the company of others.
Following the approach that increasingly characterises modern
vessels, the "Saramour" provides ample space for open-air living.
The elegance and sobriety of the internal designs is maintained
in the external spaces, where splendid "shell" seats offer delightful
moments of relaxation. An oval table seating 10 provides an ideal
site for convivial gatherings.
Social life is the exclusive purpose of the sun deck, where
a lunch area, a bar zone and a Jacuzzi tub coexist in perfect harmony.
And close attention has also been paid to the design of the technical
areas. A spacious mess room has been provided for the crew of 8,
which is housed in 4 comfortable cabins, each with a bathroom of
its own, in the forward portion of the lower deck. This area also
holds the laundry zone, plus a cold room with plenty of space.
On the main deck, a service stairway leads to a roomy professional
kitchen perfectly outfitted with steel appliances for haute-cuisine
cooking.
In the engine room, two Caterpillar
3512 DI-TA engines made by the Swac company propel the vessel
at a cruising speed of 15 knots, with a peak speed of 16.
"Saramour" is rated in the top category in the Lloyd's Register
of Shipping, and it is built in accordance with MCA standards.
