Lurssen's ARIEL.
Spring 2005 will see Lurssen
deliver one of its current buildings, Ariel.
She has a length of 63 metres and is designed by Espen
Oeino to operate in cold climates and for extensive cruising
in the northern and southern hemispheres with very few stops in
ports, preferring being at anchor.
She is a very traditional yacht with a classic appearance, reflecting
the owners ideas and built to the highest technical standards combined
with an abundance of practical and useful features.
With six decks she offers her 12 guests enormous space for entertainment
and relaxation.
Powered by 2 Caterpillar
3512B engines of 1.454 kW (2.000 PH) each, she reaches
a top speed of 15 knots and has a range of 6.000 nm.
Advanced sound and vibration features guarantee an extremely quite
running of the yacht, while an amazing hull design and stabilising
system provide maximum comfort both under way and at anchor.
