MEGA Yacht PELORUS at Blohm + Voss Repair GmbH for comprehensive
refit
On September 30th the 114m yacht PELORUS
will arrive at the Blohm + Voss
Repair premises for an extensive refit. After several trials alongside
Blohm + Voss quays the yacht will dry-dock in the sheltered dock
5 for appox. 6 month.
Beside an extensive refit and maintenance program some major conversions
will be carried out by the shipyard. One new helicopter deck will
be installed, the exhaust gas system will be converted, the stern
platform and the main mast will be converted and the yacht will
get four new stabilizers. A huge painting program will finalise
the work.
The yacht is operated by the company "Blue Ocean Yacht Management"
which will manage the extensive work, under the lead of Neil Wade,
in close relation with the Blohm + Voss specialists.
