The exhibitions of boats and yachts - boat shows - represent a remarkable opportunity to meet numerous manufacturers of motor yachts and megayachts at one place where the shipyards - yachts and megayachts manufacturers - demonstrate their yachts or yacht models.

Every year numerous boat shows are held, most of them being regional exhibitions where the companies' local representatives demonstrate new and second-hand yachts.

Normally the megayacht manufacturers do not take part in them. The advantage of the local boat show is the opportunity to buy a yacht you like on the spot.

Only few boat shows may be referred to the highest rank of boats and yachts exhibitions. It is only here that one may see the innovations in this segment. The visitors may see many models of yachts and compare them.

Unfortunately, many exhibited yachts are sometimes already sold prior to the beginning of the boat show, and the potential buyer should arm himself with patience - sometimes he has to wait for more than a year after the order of a yacht, which term is in fact a dream for the customers of megayachts - the waiting time is much longer for them, as a matter of fact.

Some companies offer a similar, though second-hand, yacht to the client to use till the receives the ordered yacht. Naturally, this yacht will be in perfect condition. It is natural as well that it will be delivered only after receiving deposit money from the client for the ordered yacht.
